Welcome to the kitchen garden
We are a small market garden, nestling by the Thames and until recently, certified by the Soil Association. We provide a variety of organic vegetables, herbs and fruit to Wallingford, Goring and Streatley. You and your children can come and visit to see local food being grown and harvested for the best taste and quality.
Our replacement fowl have now started to lay, so more eggs are available, including the blue Cotswold Legbar.
We are now closed Saturday mornings until April 2012.
The kitchen garden is run by Ashley Pearson who has a background in plant biology and crop protection. Previously at Daylesford Organics, he has studied organic systems around the world. He is helped by his partner Rachel, who has worked in horticulture for over 15 years. She has a keen interest in keeping chickens and growing cut flowers for a fully productive garden.
