Welcome to the kitchen garden
We are a small organic market garden, nestling by the Thames and certified by the Soil Association. We provide a variety of organic vegetables, herbs and fruit to Wallingford, Goring and Streatley, mainly through a seasonal box scheme. You and your children can come and visit to see local food being grown and harvested for the best taste and quality.
We also run courses in growing vegetables, practical days to help everyone start growing their own. We are lucky to have an established Learning Garden which is laid out on a domestic scale, providing a perfect environment to teach from.
The kitchen garden is run by Ashley Pearson who has a background in plant biology and crop protection. Previously at Daylesford Organics, he has studied organic systems around the world. He is helped by his partner Rachel, who has worked in horticulture for over 10 years. She has a keen interest in keeping chickens and growing cut flowers for a fully productive garden.
